LADDER 93 TO BE FEATURED IN RECRUITING VIDEO
Thursday May 9, 2002- It is with great pleasure that Captain Semenza has announced the folowing:
The Old Forge Fire Ladder 93 has been chosen from nearly 3,000 fire departments throughout Pennsylvania to be showcased in a recruiting video. This television news ad will address the all important issue of volunteer recruitment for fire services.
The video will be filmed at 10:00 am on Thursday May 16, 2002 at the firehouse located on Main Street in Old Forge borough. Pennsylvania State Senator Robert Mellow will also make a cameo appearance in the ad.
On behalf of department Chief Aulisio, Captain Semenza invites all of Borough Council and the Mayor of Old Forge to attend.
Congratulations to the Old Forge Ladder 93 for being chosen as state-wide representatives. A well deserved honor that will highlight Old Forge PA's BRAVEST.

93 HOUSED AT TRUCK 95 QUARTERS
The county is buzzing with rumors relative to Ladder 93 being housed at Truck 95 quarters in Taylor. The members of Truck 95 have generously offered their quarters to house our ladder while the driveway at Old Forge Fire Headquarters is repaired. The Ladder will be returning to Old Forge in the very near future (we hope). The members of Truck 95 have been graciously covering our first due response areas with us. Truck 95 is out of service for minor repairs and until its return Ladder Co. 93 will provide first due truck work in Taylor.
The officers of both companies are working hard to establish mutual training and SOP’s for the companies to be able to operate more efficiently together on the fire ground.
Keep yours ears to the ground and eyes open around Truck 95’s quarters. Some rumors indicate new or refurbished apparatus coming there in the future.
Ladder Co. 93 has recently placed into service a 2000 Ford Expedition command vehicle. The vehicle purchase funding was supplemented by a grant obtained from Sen. Robert Mellow. Don Gilchrist of Moosic Hose Co. assisted Chief Aulsio in the grant funding paperwork. Thanks Don.
