Welcome to the Official Website of the Old Forge Fire Department Ladder Company 93.

Ladder Company 93 is part of the Old Forge Fire Department located in Northeastern Pennsylvania.  The company provides truck company service for the Boroughs of Old Forge and also runs first due to nearby Avoca and Moosic, PA.  Ladder 93 also responds as a mutual aid company to many Lackawanna County departments as a second or third alarm company.

We also respond to motor vehicle and technical rescue assignments within Old Forge Borough and as a part of the elite Lackawanna County Task Force 1, a county-wide technical rescue team.

Our company boasts a 50% status in the Pennsylvania Fire Department Certification Program.  This means that 50% of the active membership are certified to the standards of the PA Firefighter Certification Program.

Many members of our team are certified in Emergency Medical Services (EMS).  We have several Firefighter/EMT and EMT-Paramedics within our group.

Ladder 93 is also responsible to respond as a Certified Dive Rescue Team within our primary coverage area.

The company is stationed on Main Street in Old Forge Borough.  This is a very busy portion of town which hosts some of the best restaurants in the country.  The fire-station also is home to the Borough Fire Chief and Engine Company 93.
